What We Do
Complete restoration of metal using Arc, GTAW, and Oxy-Acetylene welding. Turnaround time on most jobs depends on the damage and the type of paint scheme desired.. A project with minimal damage and a single color for example, can be done in as little as 6 days.
Types of painting can be either a "single"or "two" stage process. "Single stage" refers to just the paint color only and a "two stage" refers to a base coat followed by a urethane clear coat.
Use the original paint if possible as it's done at the factory with the metal "sealed' when it was new. Otherwise sandblasting is the next choice that's also the fastest. We use a "Garnet" medium for the paint removal, not sand. It's better on the metal and for the environment. Follow this with an Epoxy primer to seal the metal again.
Do not "dip" your body panel's and chassis. The Muratic Acid that is used in the dipping process cannot be removed completely and eventually "leaches out" of the seams on the chassis and will ruin your paint job. Trust me on this one.
My goal is to use give you a lasting paint job at a great price.
